Wine Poached Pears

Pears are still really good right now, and it is a perfect time to rid yourself of some holiday wine that may be open and never finished. This is best with a sweeter wine, but any white wine will do. If you choose not to use wine, try it with cranberry juice or pomegranate juice. Add honey according to taste with the juices.
