The Cronic Automotive Group will host popular newspaper columnist Ronda Rich at its next “Ladies Night Out” event on Tuesday, March 15.
The evening affair, which is being co-sponsored by the Iris Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, will be held in the showroom at Cronic Nissan, 2624 North Expressway and begin at 6:30 p.m.
“We regularly sponsor ‘ladies’ night out’ events to give local women the opportunity to network in an informal atmosphere and we always have a lot of fun,” said Wanda Cronic Howell, the dealer at the Cronic Automotive Group, which includes Cronic Chevrolet, Cronic Buick GMC Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and Cronic Nissan. “Because our guest this month is such a colorful personality we hope all the ladies in the community will come and we urge them to bring their spouses as well.”

“I have read several of her books and I never miss her column (which appears in several area newspapers), ” Mrs. Howell said. “I am so glad she is going to be with us next month and I know that everyone who comes to hear her will leave entertained and inspired.”
In addition to the presentation by Mrs. Rich, there will be light refreshments and door prizes, Mrs. Howell said. There is no charge for the evening’s program, she said, and there is plenty of parking available adjacent to the showroom . She noted that the facility was completely handicapped-accessible.
“This is an informal evening which we are helping provide because this community has been so supportive of our family business and I feel like we should give something back to it,” Mrs. Howell said.
Miss Rich is an eleventh generation Georgian whose Scotch-Irish forebears helped settle the northeast corner of the state where she and her family still live. In addition to her weekly newspaper columns and her books, Miss Rich delivers around one hundred speeches a year to civic clubs, chamber of commerce meetings, churches, and other community functions.
