Brooke Barkley, age 16, loves to entertain. A tenth grader at Starr’s Mill High School, Brooke excels academically and is a member of Beta Club, a choral soloist, a student choreographer, and an active volunteer for the sophomore class. Within the Fayette County community, Brooke is a Senior Company dancer with PTC School of Dance, an actor with Georgia Singers Theatre Productions, and is an active Girl Scout with Troop 716 based in Peachtree City. She’s earned the Girl Scouts of America’s Silver Award, and has 11 years of dance training, seven years of Choir training/participation, and four years in Georgia All State Choir. She is also 2018 Miss Starr’s Mill’s non-finalist talent award winner, and she’s been cast in four local theatre productions.
Brooke also loves to paint, bake, and write songs. She says she enjoys entertaining people through the arts and sees herself attending a university to focus on music and music education, entertaining through music, teaching others, and traveling.

Her mom and nominator, Amy, says Brooke has always marched to the beat of her own drum and is proud that Brooke is becoming a leader in her areas of interest. And she says Brooke does everything with a smile!
