For many of us, making Christmas cookies–especially as a shared activity with family members–is a must-do holiday tradition. (The rest of us will just be content with eating Christmas cookies as a holiday tradition.) We’re excited to share some of the best cookie recipes ever published in Fayette Woman, including award-winning confections from our annual cookie contests. So pull out your mixing bowl and spatula and get in the spirit of the season in the sweetest way possible! (And don’t forget to post photos of your cookies on our facebook page!)

Make a two-inch long teardrop cardboard pattern for Rudolph’s head. Place the teardrop shaped pattern on rolled out cookie dough. With the point of a sharp knife, cut out the shape to form his head. Bake as directed. When the cookies have cooled, break apart pretzels to form antlers and attach with a dab of frosting. Add a pair of eyes and a red nose.
