Peachtree City Community Garden, a new venture of Fresh South, a 501 3 c non-profit organization that sponsors the Peachtree City Farmers Market every Saturday from 9-1, is currently expanding and building more garden plots for future gardeners.

Families, small businesses, and clubs can join the community garden family and rent a plot for 2013. Sizes are 8X20 for 150.00 and 8×10 for 100.00 for the entire year.

The membership fee includes water, on-line 24-hour support with a blog written by Larry Dove of Two Dove Farms, as well as seminars, social opportunities, and personal consultations by horticulture experts on any gardening questions.

October 20th will be the “plot picking party” in which those who have registered and paid the membership fee will receive their plot by lottery drawing.  For more information, go to and go to the Community Garden section, or come by the information booth at the farmers market, Wednesdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
