Fireclay is a form of ceramic that more durable that typical ceramic because it is made from clay that is heavier and denser than the clay normally used to create ceramic. Fireclay is available in a variety of colors and designs.
Porcelain is a traditional material for kitchen sinks. Porcelain sinks generally consist of a cast iron base coated with porcelain. Porcelain can chip, though it is rare.
