Come join the Fayette County Historical Society on Sunday, November 20th at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy the stories of writer, Lee St. John. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, St. John began her professional life at the Atlanta office of the international advertising agency, McCann-Erickson. When her desire to become a copywriter didn’t come to fruition, she left to pursue her Master’s in English at Georgia State University and her Master’s in Secondary English Education at the University of Georgia. She added her Gifted endorsement in 1994 from Georgia State University.
Lee taught every grade except second throughout the course of her teaching career. During her teaching tenure, she was selected as an Honor Teacher, was a presenter at state and national Gifted conferences, and became a Gifted education consultant in Georgia.
Now retired, Lee St. John continues to teach in her own way by writing and reading her warped life stories. She is the author of several books in her She’s a Keeper! Series. All of her books are wild excursions about her deviated point of view regarding the life she has led so far. Nothing is sacred in her books – she pokes fun at everything and everybody. She has been at the #1 position in humor and memoirs for her first book several times in the last year
