Fayette County Earth Day Festival is celebrating its 6th year of fun and educational activities for the entire family centered on the common good of our environment. Citizens can participate in educational presentations and exhibits, the Green Market with eco-friendly products and services, student contests, live entertainment, food, games and crafts for children of all ages.

Special activities this year include Secure Shredding of paper brought to the festival and a pill drop for expired and surplus medications coordinated by the Peachtree City Police Department.

Medications ACCEPTED include: Prescriptions, Prescription patches, Prescription medications, Prescription ointments, Over The Counter Medications and Vitamins, Samples and Medications for pets.

Medications NOT ACCEPTED include: Hydrogen peroxide, Thermometers, Inhalers, Needles (sharp), Aerosol Cans, Medications from businesses & clinics, and Ointments, lotions or liquids

Please join us to celebrate Fayette County Earth Day on Saturday, April 27th, 2013, Shakerag Knoll (192 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA. 30269), 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
