Evelyn Plott, founder/headmaster of The Campus in Peachtree City, recently received a plaque in honor of her work with the Wellspring Ministries. Mary Frances Bowley, founder of Wellspring Living, recognized Evie as a valuable partner in their work to serve victims of child sex trafficking.
“Evie was pivotal in the development of the personalized education plan for the girls who are in desperate need of ‘catch-up’ education plan,” Mrs. Bowley said. “Evie’s 10 years of experience working with marginalized youth gave us great confidence to ask Evie to lead us in this development.”
The state has now recognized the education program developed as the choice model to be used to serve commercially sexual exploited children.
