In the spring of 2009, it would have been hard for me to imagine enjoying anything more than publishing Fayette Woman magazine. The launch of this website, however, has taken this experience to another level. What you see before you is a result of years of pent-up demand, a great deal of thinking about what we needed, and a whole bunch more of figuring out how to do get it done.  I won’t be satisfied until the story of every single cover gal we’ve featured – and there have been more than 90 – can be found here. We are not there yet, but we are definitely on our way. Welcome to our work-in-progress…

Like her printed companion, Fayette Woman magazine, FayetteWoman.com is nothing without you. Your thoughts, comments, ideas, and stories are what will bring her alive. I invite you to join us. We need your feedback, suggestions, comments, ideas… Want to blog? Email me with your concept. Propose things I can’t even imagine. I dare you.

From the moment we adopted the idea of Fayette Woman, our goal has been to enhance the sense of community among women who live and work in Fayette County, Georgia, USA. This website is an interactive platform which has the potential to take those relationships to a new place, one I think you’ll love, one that has the potential to make a difference in the world around us. The quality, depth and reach of that difference is up to you.

Come on in…

Thanks to StudioPress and Rebecca Diamond, who was sent to us from Heaven; to my son, Michael Drinkwater, who tweaked all sorts of things I was afraid to touch; and to AIS Solutions Group and Joe Domaleski, who besides being our all-purpose uber help desk and lords of the servers, never fail to encourage.
